How it works

The essence of Books in Places is taking the book club meeting experience to the heart of the book, the city where it is set. You’ll stay in a hotel in the city the book is set in, visit the sites described in the book and then discuss the book with your fellow travellers over a meal in an authentic restaurant linked to the book. Books in Places is built around solo travellers and the pleasure of making new like-minded friends in a relaxed and sociable environment.

We go to book clubs to talk about and dissect the books we love. Now imagine a book club meeting held right there, in a restaurant, in the city, discussing the book with others just like you, who love the book and want to experience it in a whole new way.
