Paul Bowles lived in Tangier for more than fifty years and became one of the city's most influential literary figures. Writers, artists and musicians were drawn to him and to the creative freedom Tangier offered during the mid-twentieth century.

Let It Come Down is a powerful novel set in Tangier in the 1950s, exploring identity, moral tension and cultural collision.
Paul Bowles's writing is deeply shaped by the city's atmosphere, cultural tensions and sense of dislocation.
During our stay we will visit the Paul Bowles Museum, dedicated to his life and work, offering a deeper understanding of his writing and his lasting connection to Tangier.

We will have a local tour guide for our exploration of Tangier, helping us to understand the city that Paul Bowles called home for over fifty years.
We will walk through the historic Kasbah and medina, taking in the Grand Socco, hidden streets and viewpoints that capture the spirit of the city.
