ITINERARY
Friday 24th May 2024
After arriving in Holland and having time to check in, we will all meet up in the evening and have a welcome drink before heading out to for something to eat locally.
Saturday 25th May 2024
Saturday morning: explore the streets of Delft that are still very similiar to how they were in Griet's day. Saturday afternoon: travel to the Hague by tram to visit the Mauritshuis art gallery and see the Girl with the Pearl Earring in the flesh.
Sunday 26th May 2024
Today is a free today to spend as you wish either exploring alone or with others, exploring Delft some more (perhaps visiting the Vermeer Centre to learn more about his life and work) or seeing more of The Hague.
THE COST
Included in the cost of the trip:-
- Walking wander around the sites of Delft & a visit to Mauritshuis art gallery
- Evening meal in a Dutch restaurant with a couple of drinks

- A welcome drink on the first evening so we can all meet each other
There are only ten places on this trip, so early booking is essential. As people will come from different places and want to stay for different lengths of time, flights and accommodation are not included, but direct flights are available to Amsterdam from many UK airports, from which Delft is easily accessible by train. Alternatively, the Eurostar train from London makes Delft easily accessible.
