The Shadow of the Wind is believed to have sold over 15 million copies and making one of the best-selling books of all time, yet still retains a sense of being a cult classic.
ITINERARY
Friday 26th April 2024
After arriving in Barcelona and having time to check in, we will all meet up in the evening and have a welcome drink before heading out to for something to eat locally.
Saturday 27th April 2024
The Gothic area or nearby in Barcelona is an ideal place to stay and where we will begin our wander around the sites of Barcelona, beginning at the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar and follow a path around as many of the sites featured in the book as we can. During the day we will have a chance to see and soak up the atmosphere from the book, while taking time to stop for a drink and lunch along the way.Sunday 28th April 2024
Today is a free today to spend as you wish either exploring alone or with others. The city has many other sites worth visiting or the day could be spent reading on the beach as Barcelona is often warm at the end of April.

There are only ten places on this trip, so early booking essential. As people will come from different places and want to stay for different lengths of time, flights and accommodation are not included, but direct flights are available to Barcelona from many UK airports.
