To Kill a Mockingbird theatre and book trip.

The critically acclaimed stage adaptation of Harper Lee's "To Kill a Mockingbird", written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by Bartlett Sher, is currently touring the UK. The play, based on Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, explores themes of racial injustice and childhood innocence in 1930s Alabama.

Like a normal Books in Places weekend, we will meetup on the Friday evening for a meal to get to know everyone. On the Saturday, I have booked us tickets in the Stalls at the Birmingham Hippodrome for a performance of this critically acclaimed show. After the show we will have dinner together and discuss both the novel itself as well as the show.
