A weekend away to Budapest for The Invisible Bridge

This trip is now full.

After reading Julie Orringer's "The Invisible Bridge," which has over 50,000 ratings on Goodreads, visiting Budapest becomes a must. The novel's portrayal of the city’s history and landmarks certainly make you want to see them for yourself.

Visit the Buda Castle, which offers stunning views of the city and houses the Hungarian National Gallery. Walk across the iconic Chain Bridge connecting Buda and Pest. Explore the historic Jewish Quarter, including the Dohány Street Synagogue, one of the largest synagogues in the world. Stroll along Andrássy Avenue to Heroes' Square, showcasing statues of Hungary’s significant leaders.

We will take in the poignant Shoes on the Danube Bank memorial, commemorating Holocaust victims.

A must visit will include Budapest's famous thermal baths, like Széchenyi or Gellért.

I have pre-booked accommodation so everyone can stay together. It is the social side of these trips that everyone enjoys the most, so that way everyone can stay together in one place.
