The Power of eight
by Lynne McTaggart
This is a slightly different Books in Places trip. Immerse yourself in all things spiritual in the wonderful town of Glastonbury. There is a choice of a spiritual book or a book based in Glastonbury to read and discuss. Feel free to read one or both.
We will arrive and convene on Friday evening, with introductions and dinner.
Saturday we will explore Glastonbury, Chalice Wells and the centre of Glastonbury, followed by dinner, included in the price and a discussion about the books read.
Sunday is a free day, however magical things happen in Glastonbury, so I will bring my angel cards and do a few mini readings if you are interested, in one of the coffee shops, as well as a visit to Glastonbury Tor.
In The Power of Eight by Lynne McTaggart - an expert on the science of spirituality - reveals her remarkable findings from 10 years of experiments designed to discover how group intention can heal our lives - and change the world for the better. When individuals in a group focus their intention together on a single target, a powerful collective dynamic emerges that can heal long-standing conditions, mend fractured relationships, lower violence and even rekindle life purpose. But the greatest discovery of McTaggart's experiments is that group intention has a mirror effect, not only transforming the recipient but also reflecting back on the senders.
The Chalice by Paul Rickman: The magical Glastonbury Tor has been a lifelong obsession for Dianne Fitch. But as the atmosphere of the place becomes soured by bitterness, violence and death, Dianne is convinced she is being warned of impending disaster. Could there be an anti-Grail in existence - the Dark Chalice? Looking forward to exploring Glastonbury and all things spiritual with you.
