Friday 8th August 2025
After arriving in Holland and having time to check in, we will all meet up in the evening and have a welcome drink before heading out to for something to eat locally.
Saturday 9th August 2025
Saturday morning: explore the streets of Delft that are still very similar to how they were in Griet's day and visit the spot where he painted his famous "View of Delft". Saturday afternoon: travel to the Hague by tram to visit the Mauritshuis art gallery and see the Girl with the Pearl Earring painting in the flesh along with other great works such as "View of Delft".
Sunday 10th August 2025
Today is a free today to spend as you wish either exploring alone or with others, exploring Delft some more (perhaps visiting the Vermeer Centre to learn more about his life and work) or seeing more of The Hague.

Places are limited to keep the group small. As people will come from different places and want to stay for different lengths of time, flights and accommodation are not included, but direct flights are available to Amsterdam from many UK airports, from which Delft is easily accessible by train. Alternatively, the Eurostar train from London makes Delft easily accessible.
